Day one of the bear hunt was very slow. No bears, but plenty of mosquitos, prompting a lighting of the trusty Thermocell. We couldn't have asked for better temperatures in the upper 50's, although the wind was shifty. We did have a couple of pine martins keeping us company. Hoping for a better evening tonight. The last few days have not shown any daytime bears on camera, and only one (big one at least), coming in late at night.
