Turkey: Week Two: Day 5

This morning Kevin and I were able to sneek in under a few roosted turkeys.  OK, more than a few, as light broke, we realized that a few turned out to be 42 with 3 confirmed toms.  Proud that we were able to sneak in undetected, we waited for the first bird to fly down.  After the stretched their wings and prepared for flight, we were humbled when the hens left the roost first...flying straight over the treetops and never landed in sight...followed by the three toms.  Back to the blind and didn't see a bird.  Kevin is wrapping up his hunt as we speak.  We'll post when we have an update.
